Canon Carousel for my grandson
I am 64 and finally had my first grandchild. My brothers grand kids are all in Highschool by now. I didn't think I would ever be able to apply my hobby to my grandchildren. So here is a really great model from Canon. I was very impressed with the detail and quality of this Carousel. The thing actually works. It has finger grips so you can rotate it and then the horses go up and down. Very cool. I sprayed it with acrylic as I was assembling so the thing would last long after I am gone. It also help the mechanism so the paper mechanism won't wear out so quickly

Very nice! How was the build process? I'm looking at doing this one as well.

It was relatively easy. Cutting out all the horses was tedious. Make sure you follow the sequence in the instructions. I get ahead of myself and then find out that there is a reason things are put together in a certain order.
I highly recommend this model and it really looks great when finished. |
