Left 4 Dead pipebomb

Hey guys,

I've made a 1:1 scale pipebomb from the video game Left 4 Dead and made a timelapse video of me making it. (It's what I do for some reason)

Would love your feedback,

Is it just me, or is there more tasteful subjects to model? Realism in this instance could get you visited by a swat team or worse...oh well,... it's a free world I guess. Maybe I'm just old fashioned...but the video is kinda funny I must admit...

You know, in this busybody crazy world that we live in. Somebody going to call Homeland Security on you, and they will come kick down your door and shut you down cold for making a paper pipebomb.

I not going to say I like it a lot, cause I don't want HLS to come kick down my door too.

I think it is bad form for you two guys to give this person, this new member, a hard time about a REPLICA from a video game when all he is trying to do is share his creativity.
People model weapons of war every day here without mention of homeland security kicking down their door. Personally, I think you owe him an apology.

No one is disputing the young mans modeling skills. The detail is good and I noted that it was realistic, I also noted that portions of the video are humorous. I still dissaprove of the subject matter of the build... video game be as it is and I'm sticking by it. There is a difference in stratgic and sport weaponary and terrorist created devises used for the express purpose of public slaughter. I just don't see an object of this type having a place on a publicly viewed forum.

I see it as I see it...if someone is offended...well..there it is.

Apology? See, this is what i means about busybody. Dude! I like the model! And I was making fun of HLS, not 81shotty. I think he is old enough to know that is a joke to HLS, not direct to him.

I'm building a MGL too and I wonder if HLS will kick down my door. Or if I take that unfinished paper REPLICA in a box to airport, will them all jump on me and lock me up in Gitmo. I believes they would, seeing what HLS did to little girl on tv.

Like I said "I like the model". No apology from me. Please get apology from someone else. Thanks.

Ok, here's my word on it. The modeller has built a paper model of a weapon from a video game,
and done a good job on it. There are builds of all types of weapons on the site, some real, some fantasy.

If you do not wish to view this type of model, do not click the thread.

This is beginning it's de-evolution into an area it does not need to go.

Unless you have something useful to input into this thread, about the model, leave all other comments at the front page.

If you have any problem with this, pm me and I can take care of that for you.
