A 69 Jag? Oh, that must be nice...and a car that scares one's spouse. Too good!
My fav wheelie is a 62 XKE Cabriolet.....designed by God Himself!

I damned near shorted out the keyboard! I'm still wiping the wet off of it! That Jag is a beauty! I hate you so much that you get to drive that and I don't. LOL!!!

Regretably not any more Charles. I sold it a month or so back.
As I said, the wife was frightened of it, even as a passenger. It may have been 43 yrs old, but it was still capable of 150mph, and the acceleration was fantastic. Very hard to resist driving it as it was meant to be used, and being retired now, I rarely go far without her in the car with me. So a more sedate form of transport had to be aquired. Of course, "Silver" will perform quite adequately off road too, but the wife hasn't experienced this yet. Johnny. |

I deduce from your avatar and from the cars that you live in the UK. My youngest son's favorite TV program is TopGear...not the US version, the REAL version!
He's gotten me hooked on it, too. I just love their love affair with fast and dangerous cars. 150 mph and looks that could kill....that's a Jag. Lucky you that you had the pleasure of it. But, you are sensible; I, too, prefer the pleasure of my wife more so than any material thing.
