Yu, Gundams wouldn't have existed without the vast amount of inputs from Japanese media company. I believe modelers are doing more amazing things in Japan, just that I haven't seen them yet...

I don't think there will be more amazing modeling in Japan than that 1/400 Gundam.... perhaps

The poor guy is clearly unbalanced. He should probably be institutionalized.

Shouldn't we all? I showed this to the wife, who has often accused me of being nuts. Nice to see that "nuts" is a relative term.

Hey guys,
hmm, 1:400 is not that surprising. We have Mr Thuemler here in Germany. He is building in 1:1250 (always, standard). Check it out:
Kartonbau.de - Alles rund um's Kartonmodell... | Messen, Austellungen, Kartonbau-Treffen | bremerhaven oktober 2006
Just scroll down, ignore the german and look for the ships in 1:1250 (sailors, Titanic in dock, sunken Titanic).
There is also the other side of the coin. Fritz with his USS Inidanapolis in 1:50.

Cheers
Jan
