A rose to impress the ladies

There is a girl that I'm hoping to impress so I spent some time and came up with this:

Maybe if she knew that my hobby was building things out of paper then it would be geeky, but I'm hoping she sees me as being really talented. I'll worry about the geeky aspect later. If it gets me in the door then it's worth it.

Totally cool...and if you know what to do once you get in the door, no woman worth her salt will think you a geek.

I never had a problem with my hobby. In fact, I had many friends asking me to build models of our mission aircraft, the KC-135 which I did. Apart from that, I could hold my own in a bar fight, so no one thought my hobby was geeky.

One final thing about women: if she knows you are spending money on your hobby and where you are on a Fri/Sat night, you should be in like Flint. At least you are not out running around with other women. If she disparages you, she's not worth the trouble.

I showed this to my better half, and she said it was very sweet, and the lady ought to be very impressed, but added that if there is to be a diamond somewhere in the future, it'd better not be paper!
