Camberwick Green - Musical Box

Unless you grew up in the UK in the '60s, Windy Miller and Doctor Mopp probably mean nothing to you. However, their (mild) stop-motion adventures would begin, each episode, with the lead character emerging from the musical box.

Years ahead of Stargate, the device incorporated an operating Iris, to prevent alien incursion.
I have uploaded the pdo to the downloads section, it should be available soon.

Here is a box,a musical box,can you tell who is in it to day?, thud crash bang, it's Windy Miller and he's drunk again!. Brilliant! absolutely brilliant. Camberwick Green,Chigley and Trumpton all kept me occupied back in the day.I remember fondly the one where Windy hits his home made cider ,doubt if they would be aloud to do that now, this will definitely go next to Gary's Clanger model thank you.
And here is the box

Thumbs up

This just made my day. Thanks soooooo much. Like the other guys, this was one of my favorite of the childrens progs at the time. I still get a buzz seeing this. Mild and very pleasant programmes those days, the things they produce today are too "CLINICAL" if that makes sense Everything has BIG BROTHER watching over it. Can't do this, can't do that... oh you must certainly not show that. The whole childhood thing we was part of was THE best ever, i am so glad that i was born the time i was and not just coming along now. They "Cleansed Blue Peter" just look at that now...They think they are doing right by people keeping it all in the "now" and too easily dump the past. My mindset is stuck firmly in the past, you know... when the corner shop had a seat near the counter so that an elderly person could sit and take the weight of his/her feet and actually have a conversation with the shop keeper. Thanks again for making my day MUCH better, and also to the other friends here posting links and videos.
