I just have one question, why are you posting photographs of your full sized garage? No way that can be a model. I am stunned.

Thanks for nudging this one Ian. I musta missed it. Nice build Mike.

Porsche 911 mill in a wide wheeled Lotus 7 ??? Perfectly achievable plan in any under 30 petrolheads imagination I would think.

Not like putting a 3.5 Rover V8 into a 20 yr old Bedford CF van, or grafting a 1000cc Arial Square Four into a Sunbeam S7 frame. "Sacrilege" I hear the purist yelling, but yes such things were very much a part of my misspent youth. We even successfully grafted a Rover V8 onto a Citroen DS drive train once, but it was never fitted to the car, as we never overcame the one forward, four reverse gear syndrome.
