Those look like they could keep the little ones entertained for a while.
Have to make them out of non-toxic material, though, so the chewing would be survivable.

Had a similar set as a kid, but with 8 slots in them, and just plain colors. They were called "Deeley-Bobbers' (sp?) for some reason, and had a plastic tage on their pouch with one piece glued to it, and a phrase I can't remember all of, but said something about "the road to serendipity". Time to go ask Google. I think. Funny, was just thinking about them yesterday, and wondering if I could make some of my own...
