Beautiful paintwork and brilliant construction. This model truly looks like the real thing.

Please,

I am VERY new to this hobby. Is it permitted to ask who made this cardmodel kit and where it might be purchased in the US? It is very good and I should like to make one myself but using plastic stock instead of cardboard.

Thank you so much!

Geez, I have a real 1861 shooter and yours looks better than mine! I built mine from a kit, too.

You do realize MM that with only slightly more work you could've used iron and shot it! lol! No really!

That is an insanely beautiful build. It brings tears to my eyes. My grandfather owned a Navy 36 and an Army 45, both from the Civil War. My great-great-grandpas i believe.

I have an uncle who eBayed everything he could get his hands on. So much for family heirlooms.

Seeing your wonderful build brings back boyhood memories. Thanks for sharing.

Jack

OK, been eye balling Nothings Mouser Broom Handle over at Ecardmodels.com along with this model. I am going to have to get these. I bet they hang on the wall with far less work then the real ones!

Beautiful modelwork, although I'm not a fan of firearms, still I think that would be a cool build

Dear Rick:

SPOT ON!!!!! Thank you so much for your incredibly helpful answer. It is a beautiful kit at a great price. Now, I just have to figure how this downloading and printing thing works. Will check for FAQ's.

Thanks again. You are a GREAT help.
