Coming soon to a "Pocket Theater" near you. This toy is business card sized and will hold much more detail. Will do a demo video later this afternoon or something...

The demo video looked great. Since this was the first prototype of this toy and noting lack of interest, the video will not be shown.
I prototype in full color. It's just a little extra work, and if I was successful, I have another free toy to give somebody (I have a small box full of free giveaways). The ridiculousness of the toy was not my aim. Was just testing the mechanix and wanted to do it quickly so I made a stupid clown. I was completely successful. (yayyy me).

The master of ceremonies arrived in time for a dress rehearsal. He brought his trusty harp hoping for a sound check, looked around, heard the crickets then left. Ah show business...;p

In an attempt to think outside the box, I took the puppet out of the box (just like pocket theater) and made it smaller. Here is the first prototype of that. It is a silly toy for my Wife, she loved it. It has reversible eyes. Still working on the jaw mechanic. I decided to go square with the eyes. Planning on building smaller yet. Will get to the 3d face when I feel like it. ;p

I'm not sure if he's a Leprechaun or a Pict but I adores him.

I'm pondering as to where all this might lead. Also, am I trembling in anticipation, or dread? I guess only time will tell.

It may lead to a few short video performances by yours truly. It may lead to a few dozen toys I can sell or give away. It may lead to a book probably self published and bound locally. It probably will not impress anyone here. Might make a few of you giggle. Then again, it could all flop and you end up with tomato on your face...place your bets.

Just in time for the year of the ...PIG.

Yes, the pig. It was a trace of a pig and a trace of a trike for my wife (we both got recumbent tricycles) in anticipation for a grand new year. The toy needs a complete fresh draw, but it is low priority right now.
On the current agenda are; Drawing a 3d puppet and drawing (building and performing with) the worlds smallest paper ventriloquist puppet. I am working on the latter.
