Mike you have hit the nail on the head - my family is from Yorkshire and when I see fruit cake I start looking for strong cheese! A good mature cheddar or Wensleydale is ideal. And maybe a spot of Hendersons Relish.

Chips from the chip shop served with scraps and covered in cheese and gravy. Drooooool!

All good healthy food!

Agreed but, it is waaaay too early for chips even if they are the breakfast of champions (Pardon the Yorkshire pun) Toasted cheese sandwich with hot mustard does for a cold and congestion too.

Rick,
they are available at the HEB store here in Houston. Probably at the one near you now too. These were bought 4 hours ago... Now they are gone.

On our local Supermarket shelf. About US 0.75 cents each for the bounty and 0.65 for the Mars Bars underneath.

Mars Bars melted make a great sauce for ice cream! And bits thrown into hot chocolate are nice too!

Not me. I have always wanted to, but have ever been anywhere where they had the ability to make them properly!

Not a greasy shapeless blob!

I believe a really frozen Mars Bar and chip fat oil is the best - I have a friend in Aberdeen who claims there are some Fish and CHip shops there that still do a cracking job on a Mars bar.

Mars bars are too sweet really and I only ever used to have them on exercise where the weather required a bit of extra sugar in the system. Thankfully deep fried Mars bars are slowly going the way of the Dodo. Melted on ice cream is something I have not tried yet but now have to.
