Canon Creative Park's Miniature book (Flower)
A nice creation I gave to my fair lady.
I maybe should have been used thinner paper than 160 gsm for the internal pages, because once glued all together, the book is slightly thicker than the cover. After some days under a weight, it has flattened out a little.

I'm pleased to see this as I have it in mind to make one for my lady too but was wondering about the effect of paper thickness (I use 160g paper for just about everything). Thanks for the tip. Do you think ordinary copier paper would be OK?

I used 200 gsm paper for the book cover, 160 gsm for the outer box, and 120 gsm for the internal pages. But as they must be glued together side by side, the page thickness doubles. Maybe you can get a better result with ordinary copier paper just for the pages, and 120 gsm for the pop-up flowers, but it's just my guess.

Thank you for that, asettico. I'm edging closer to giving it a go and see how I get on. It's a charming object.

Oh, how sweet!
Wonderful idea. I must try something of a kind myself, thanks for the inspiration!
