Merry Christmas!

I built this Christmas tree model from Canon while waiting on a closing date for our house in Asheville, NC. The hillbilly hill cabin is not a great place for doing anything complicated so this model was a perfect and fun little project. We won't have a full sized tree this year so this one will have to do.

I printed it two pages per letter paper sheet so it came out about 12 inches tall instead of the 20 or so inches it would be at full scale. I also added just a bit of glitter with a set of Crayola glitter glue pens.

BTW, today we got the news that we will close on the house this Friday!

Yeah! It will be so nice to get back into a comfortable workspace with my own roll top desk again. I'll have to hunt through boxes to find the Super Corsair project and get it back on track.

For now Merry Christmas to the whole group!

Curt

I built that one, too, for my classroom last year. It's a helluva project, isn't it.

Merry Christmas, very pretty little tree! I'm glad you'll be in your house soon (I hate closing) and looking forward to further building updates!

Nice work on the Christmas tree and congrats on your new home! Best of luck and Merry Christmas to you too! I'm sure we'll run into each other - NC is pretty small. ;-)

Congratulations on your new home. Asheville, you will be very happy there. Lived about 20 miles from, for four years and loved every min. Now, I live 2 hours away, welcome neighbor. Merry Christmas, Rick

That living out of and on boxes sucks. Congratulations on closing. Sure that's about the best Christmas gift you could ask for right now.
