I just started on my samaritan this past weekend. I only have a fraction of it done and your parts you put together already look better than what I have done. Yours looks great.

There is another thread on Zealot where the guy used putty and painted his. That thing is phenominal. Looks like a real prop. That is waaaaaay to advanced for me.

I saw that thread too. That was nice. But, Sidewinder81777's model is way better. Look how clean his model. No covering up mess with paint. That's craftsmanship right there. IMO, the true beauty of a paper model is to build it up from it original form as it came out the printer or printed kit.

I partially agree with you duck. Sidewinders model is great. I only hope mine turns out a fraction as nice as his. But I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thread. This other person didn't just whip a the gun together and paint over it. He printed out the same pattern and added even more to it and puttied it did a great job painting it. It looks like the real deal. I was just pointing out that some one else took uhu's model and improved on it, which is no easy feat. And I don't mean this in anyway to put down Sidewinders skills or the job that he did. I was merely pointing out another version that had been done of the uhu model.

I am assuming you are talking about Mousemuffins Wicked, I love what he does, he uses the paper kit as a basis to make a beautiful, durable and extremely realistic looking replica of the subject, im a huge fan of his lol. And thanks everyone for your compliments :D

Duck, I should apologize. After reading what I wrote it kinda seems like I was busting your balls some. That wasn't my intentions. And sometimes the problem with writing these things and the tone that you intented doesnt come across how you meant it to. Everyone has their own perception of what is good or bad and preferences to one style or another. But the one thing we all agree on is how good of a job that Sidewinder did on his model. Hope to see more from him.
