Please do not misunderstand me I had meant that all he used was a white plan... All the important colours are down to the weathering using the chalks, and are obviously not present in the downloaded diagram. I wished to ask how those were applied, but if you also have weathering techniques please share! Not everyone has the ability to weather...

Another method that I use to make barrels, is to use my mechanics socket tool set and use the appropriate socket to the scale and wrap the paper around it then continue as depicted in this thread.

The good thing about the stainless or chrome surface of the sockets is that the glue does not adhere and the form slides off easily. Before I weather my items, I always spray the object with a primer. Depending on the item and the scenario, I use red, gray, black and white primer.
