I would absolutely love to see how someone is able to get such spacific shapes out of cans which are preformed onto a cylandar. A tutorial would be very well recieved I am quite sure!

Well, after Mike Bauer's very, very generous plug of my models and building skills, I feel obligated to share some of my techniques with the forum. Look for my tutorial build on a B-29 starting sometime this weekend!

Thanks Ron!

Anyone have a suggestion as to where I may begin the tutorial thread on the B-29 aluminum can model?

I would say to put it in this category and let the
moderators figure out if it should go to aviation
build threads. I believe it belongs in the aviation
build threads but It's hard saying where the
powers that be decide. Ron

I suggest the Other Things We Do and Make forum. It's purpose is for extended mediums and such to showcase our talented lot's other talents.

Another thought. Beings you said Tutorial maybe they
would put it there. I am sure you will get plenty of
views so there will be plenty of traffic. Ron

Thanks so much for doing this. Remember, most of us have no idea how to do any of this (or at least I don't) so please be very descriptive when describeing how something is done. I am perticularly interested in how you are able to shape an aluminume can so precisely. Thanks again and cant wait to follow this one very closely. Maybe once someone has figured out what category the thread should fall under they can post the info here so everyone knows where to look.

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!
