Household tip "Fake Cake"
Hi everyone
Here is a household tip I used this last weekend. I call it "Fake Cake" I am a bachelor so to make a full size cake is not something I do that much. I am looking for something "cheap, quick and easy" I took two packages of muffin mix (Chocolate Chip the one you just add 1/2 cup of water to) I mixed them up Then added chocolate syrup (I squeezed it for a count of ten) I then sprayed two cake pans with oil. Then poured the muffin mix in each pan. I then cooked them per the muffin mix package for about 15 min. I let them cool then took them out of the pans. I then put frosting on the top of one. Then put the second one on top. Then frosted the whole cake. I think it came out good. Well that's it for my household tip. EnjoyJohn |

Gee, I was expecting a paper model of a cake -- which would have contributed to our hobby and would have been better for my waistline. So that should have been a win-win -- but I like your cake much better!

I work in a factory that makes Polyurethane foam mattresses. For my boss' 50th birthday, we brought in a 9 x 13 baking pan, and a can of frosting. Then we cut a piece of foam the size of the pan, and frosted it. We had a lot of fun watching her try to cut that cake!!
Of course, we had a real cake too. After all, she approves our paychecks.
