Interesting shots!
What do you call a whole lot of Pronghorn? An "Array of Pronghorn"?

I've really enjoyed the photos in this thread so I thought I would add a few of my wild animal shots. Keep in mind that I risked life and limb getting close enough to these critters to get a good shot.

DWest - absolutely stunning! What camera/lens?
I struggle to get any decent macro pics. even though I have reasonable kit! I see from your other pics that you also like trains - steam engines are a passion of mine, and I try and photograph these whenever possible! Otherwise diesels do! See here...(all trains for the animal lovers!) Amateur photography Amateur photography Amateur photography Amateur photography Amateur photography Amateur photography

DWest, those are great. I've got a few butterfly photos, but nothing even close to yours.

More bugs
Thanks Kevin and Whulsey!
The equipment I use is nothing fancy just a Canon Rebel XSI with a Canon 55-250 zoom lens. I don't use a tripod because it takes too long to get them set up and bugs don't usually stay in one place for very long. I would like to have a good macro lens but I'm too cheap to spend the money, lol. Here is a couple more shots. Dan |

here's my pet iguana. I apologize for posting a pic of a domestic animal then a true wild animal, but I just wanted to contribute to the thread.
