OK guys, I also renew magazine subscriptions now for only 12 months at a time.

Arrived at 80 last November.

My greatest joy is trying to improve this modeling
act with which we all appear to be involved.

No.17 Murph's F-104, 1/33

No.17 is Murph's F-104, at 1/33, measuring about 2 feet in length.
Let's see how it looks.

Wow! That model really stands out. It looks like you spent a good deal of time planning the parts layout.

Thanks. I did plan where to place the graphics of the cans and specifically avoid the bar codes as much as possible. Just don’t like bar codes.

Now that's a good sized model. Next question, where are you gonna put it!?

Perhaps the ceiling? I've got a 3 foot F-15 Aggressor hanging over my head as I type!

Bar code placement always seems to come into play, especially on the larger models where can surface becomes so crucial. This is one that given the true bare aluminum finish of the real subject might look good in bare cans. Mike Bauer has a good sized pattern around 3 feet in length I think. Perhaps I might tackle this subject again in the future with those features in mind...

What you are doing with metal cans is simply stunning. Well done!

Thanks, guys.

The question of where to store it is always a headache. Now it's hanging in one of my rooms in the flat and later it will be redeployed somewhere else that I have no idea at the moment.

I feel your pain. The airspace above my workbench is a bit congested as well at the moment:

And this doesn't even include the ones hanging in my office!
