Very nice papermate. Santa looks quite happy being in beer.

I hope that wasn't 1/300. Nicely done, sir.
How do you keep the fenders from having sharp edges? Gentle sanding?

Thank you my friends for visiting.
@Vermin King - There's no need to sand the fenders as they are what it is after cutting them out of the templates. After a few passes by a cutter over the can, just snap and you'll have clean edges without ruggedness. |

Two Tigers from Canon Creative Park
To celebrate the Year of Tiger that will be next month, I present two tigers from Canon Creative Park for your views. I modified the tail of the bigger one from 2D to 3D and that of the smaller red one in coiled strip that can sway if you move it.

Those really came out nice. Were the paws a challenge to form?

Thanks rmks2000, the paws weren’t a challenge but the tails that were scratch built.

No.43 Murph's Models, AN-2, re-scaled to 1/33
No.43 of this soda can model series is back to plane. This time, it's a 1/33 plane, AN-2, from Murph's Models. I have enhanced the engine face dial by adding cylindrical halves to make it look more 3-D. Also, flap hinges are added under the upper and lower wings, and an antenna as well. Finally, a simple rigging added to finish this project.
