Thanks John for inviting me over to your city for tea or beer. However, I’ll have to return to Toronto for an arts exhibition right after this trip. Perhaps some other time. As a matter of fact, our alternative place to visit was Whitehorse if YK didn’t do too well!
It seems that YK is getting back to normal and it’s great to see that many visitors are coming to see the polar lights. Buses are full with Asian visitors going about at night after ten to see the fascinating polar lights. The night tours finish after midnight and some even go beyond that. Can’t believe it was night after night for three consecutive days. And we’re doing it again for two more nights of polar lights tracking!
I have no idea about Buffalo Joe but I have seen quite a lot of Air Tindi’s Twin Otters (like the one I test built for Murph) though.
Got a couple more of float planes for you guys and thanks again for reading this report,

And some YK photos to show that the city is doing okay.

Glad your trip is going well. I met Buffalo Joe McBryan a number of years ago while on a visit to YK seaplane base. He was just landing his Norseman CF-SAN and I had a chance to talk with him and his sons for a bit. He formed Buffalo Airways in the 70's and has since also added a N3N to his personal fleet. Very interesting and genuine character was my first impression.

Great, Murph has these. I built the N3N but not yet the Norseman. Good to know that you've met great guys. Cheers.
