No.36 Bruno's B737-400, scale 1/300

No.36, another Bruno's B737-400 at 1/300. The can is Perrier mineral water, graphics by Murakami, mainly floral patterns on a green background.

No.37, Bruno's B737-400, scale 1/300

No.37 is another B737-400 at 1/300 made out of a local craft beer "Gweilo" can. The term Gweilo 鬼佬(literally meaning 鬼 ghost 佬 bloke) is a bit derogatory to call a foreigner, mainly westerner, but it's been used for ages here and many Gweilos in HK just accept it as they don't feel offended at all. And we have loads of pricey Gweilo beer in the local supermarkets.
That aside, the graphic is very very colourful and the craft beer is a gift from a youngster who knows that I collect cans to make can planes. Too bad, I have never come across that colourful can since.

To make it easier to build more B747-400 can planes, I have built a rig for this purpose.

Just bought this plastic stand for 1/400 scale metal model planes.
They come in white or black at about USD2 from Taoboa.
Now my tiny can planes can be shown in flight mode gracefully.

I am surprised by the result you get with cans, I can hardly build with paper !! That support is also very beautiful.

No.38 COMAC C919 Prototype MSN10101 B-001A, originally 1/72 now reduced to 1/300

Thanks, Sergio for your comments.

The next one to show is a paid paper model from MelonWork - COMAC C919 Prototype MSN10101 B-001A, originally at 1/72, now reduced to 1/300, made out of China's Tsingtao Beer cans. Landing gears are provided in the kit but for obvious reasons, they are omitted.

It's the world's first C919 made out of beer cans at 1/300! Yea, that's something to brag about, hahaha!

No.39 Bruno's B737-400, 1/300

No.39 is back to Bruno's B737-400, 1/300. made from UCC sugarless Black Coffee cans. The UCC coffee aluminiun sheet is a bit thicker than the usual soda can and is a bit harder to deal with. Anyway, I've overcome that, not much of a probelm.

No.40 COMAC C919 Prototype at 1/100

No.40, COMAC C919 Prototype at 1/100 made out of Coke cans.
This is my first attempt to do it at the scale of 1/100, lots of faults but hidden to the best I can. Hope next build will see improvements. Gotta live with this "prototype" for now.

Santa Tippo 1928

It may come a bit late as last Christmas was about a week ago.
The Santa Tippo 1928 designed by Dave is turned into a tin car or rather a beer can car with rolling wheels. It will surely last longer than paper.
OK I'll save it for next Christmas.
