Yeah, I grow them from seeds. Had a problem with slugs eating the young plants so did some natural remedies and the vines took off.
I am going to pickle some because there are a lot of them. Using the low temp method and letting them sit for a few weeks. @Dane, I guess cucumber varieties are similar around the world.

My wife has the ability to grow different vegetables. These are cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, strawberries, pumpkins, vegetable marrows and so on. This is her hobby. When my family have a rest in summer on dacha we have fresh vegetables on our table. But in the last several years nights have become very cold. And I need to build a greenhouse. Maybe this summer.
I think I will announce a competition for the construction of the best model of a greenhouse on Paper Modelers site. :-)
