Yay!

My Black Friday from last week purchases finally all arrived.
First, I am in no way a trekkie, no even close. I just happen to like the Enterprise design, both old and new, and a few other Starfleet ship designs too.
I have never owned a Star Trek model before. For decades, I have told myself I will buy this or that one of this day, but not today. Today I'm looking for something else. Well, that day came.
At first, I was only going to buy the 1/350 Refit and the decals. But then I see the 1/350 3-in-one old version, and I have to get that too. From there on, snowball downhill. Good thing I am very picky about what I like; otherwise, I would be looking at maybe a dozen more kits sitting there.
I don't know when I will have time to build them. I have too many hobbies going on at the same time, with work and family ~ could be never. But I enjoy taking them out the box and looking at them. I'm more of a collector than a modeler nowadays anyway.

Greetings, brother from a different mother. I, too, have been collecting these models, even though the last star trek model I made was back in 1973.

As much as I want to, I'm not allowed to collect Star Trek models. Any Star Trek ships I bring home, immediately belong to my brother. Even paper ones.

I just watched Star Trek Into Darkness again. I hope some one would make the USS Vengeance.

I saw a 1/350 klingon ship at Hobby Town. The price is way too high for me since I'm not much of a klingon ship fan.

Know what you mean Allen. My weakness is little weird cars, no way I can pass up a Daihatsu Midget, Citroen Mehari, etc, etc, etc. Just glad they don't do many kits of that type of vehicle.
