homemade 3-string guitar made from hardware store parts.

combining my skills learned from paper modeling, 3d modeling, and familiarity with the hardware store, I made this guitar from only stuff I could get from the strip mall with a lowes hardware store. Plays pretty well! here is the instructibles article:

Me too. A bowed version with a curved fingerboard would also be possible, somewhat resembling the Chinese erhu.

the strings won't bow however. they will still be straight. That is why I went with a sledgehammer handle and not an axe handle: the sledge hammer is straight.



I'm working on a video of it playing. I'm not the best player, and I'm still fiddling with this guitar but shortly I'll add a video and sound to the instructables article
