My Daily Commute

I’m fortunate enough to live only seven miles from where I work and I am able to bicycle to work every day. Anchorage has an awesome bike trail network. The trail goes either under or over all major roads so traffic is not an issue. I feel very lucky to get to experience the beautiful (changing) scenery on a daily basis. These photos are just some random shots along the trail. I love the sound of leaves crunching under the bike tires and the smell of fall in the air! :D

The photo of the mountains is looking east of town. It was raining for a few days and when the clouds lifted yesterday this was the view! A reminder that summer is over and of what’s to come...

Lovely! But better you than me. I consider anything below 75F to be "chilly".

Thanks for sharing- sure beats the view of my commute, an hour along I-95.
