"Nosferatu" 1/8 scale Monarch Model
Have always like these monster/horror kits, and this one from Monarch Models was fun to paint. Enamels and oils, with pastel chalks for a lot of the shading and weathering. Light spray of Future to seal and blend in the colors..

Watched this movie not too ling ago and is still creepy after all these years. The scene that creeps me out is him walking thru the town carrying his coffin! For anyone who has never seen this silent movie, do and you will be in for a treat. Great job, looks like you got him right with the subtle shading. I use to paint military figures many, many moons ago and rememeber well those hours spent trying to get that just right look. Eyes, what a pain to paint! looks great.:DRick

Awesome color work. I wonder if anyone has done any of these in black & white.

He said he tried it once. Once. "Black" and "White" paints have other color components to them and pretty soon your neat greys turn an off green or ucky brown in short order
