Another look into my warped mind!

Hi teamsters, thought you might like a glimpse at my hybrid modelling...ie
paper to plastic...
With the help of Thunderchilds excellent Gunstar kit I am now 70% finished on my plastic version... here's a glimpse hope you like. A lot more pic over at my site (45 at least!) chianna47.webs.com

It's still a model, regardless of the material. And paper is a great material for scratch building or just greebling. Lookin' great!

Yogi (still a lousy detail painter so I'm sticking with paper, where I can print the graphics)

Basically it is a full on plastic version of a paperkit, tho saying that there is a little bit of wire holding the front chair mech together, (so it can swivel!).

ooooh Gunstar, I've been wanting to build one of those for a long time, I would love to see someone [edit: Thunderchild did you do a paper card of that?] do a paper card of that. Where can I find the kit?

I have the plans for a bigger version, but that means more detail and more fiddly-bits to worry about...having enough problems trying to get the engines to look good as it is!
