von Richtofen and his Dr-1

I built both models shown in these images many years apart and had never photographed them together.

The MvR figure is resin, 120 mm Model Cellar that I assembled and painted about 20 years ago or so and the Dr-1 behind him is a 1:28(?) card model that I bought and built from PMI about 15 years ago.

I was just horsing around with them and took a couple of picts..... just having fun. I do realize that they are not the same scale but I think they still look good together.

Enjoy,

Swampfox

I'd say you have a definite talent for life-like miniatures! Wonderful job on Von Richthofen and his Dr1

Different scale or not, they make a great display together. Well done!

Very well done Anthony! Those 1/16 resin figures is something I envy you. And the Triplane isn't that much out of scale - I believe it is a Schreiber 1/20 scale model.
