While discussing how paper models can be improved I wrote a little tutorial on doubling up details on my site and built this version :-)

Even my better half was impressed with how the house looks now!

I have made a little diorama with the new parts I have created ... mostly to make the village look more lived in. Carts, hay bale, fences, a storage hut. And also lots of ground tiles (only a few used here).

And added a background for this one :-)

I think it's starting to come alive now!

Noticed your files are multi-layer (great)😸, but I'm tablet based (Android) and will not be able to access them.😿

That's ... bad. Didn't think that would be a problem these days. I have the layers setup that you have a very good configuration as default but of course that is only a small consolation.

I will try to find out if there is any other app that supports layers. In any case thanks for pointing this out to me.

I've already had a good look on tinternet before, and there are no apps available for Android to deal with multi layered PDFs, it's an Android thing - like no Pepakura either 😿😾

Yeah, it seems there is a problem with the way layers are handled in Adobe Reader and potential phone security breach. Which sounds weird to me, as I have other apps that have layer support. I guess it's not too important for Adobe to fix that for Android.

Sorry to hear about this issue. Not sure what I can do to help. I'll try to ask around if someone has an idea.

It does seem odd that Adobe reader can't do layers on Android - the most common tablet OS. Apart from the odd issue like this, I still love using my Samsung tablet, haven't had a computer for over 4yrs now.

It is nice from you, Papierschnitzel, that you want so solve it for us even it is not your fault, but Android/Adobe fault.

We just need to find a nearby machine that supports layered pdf and print it from there (or save pdf in different on/off layer configuration there)

Try the Foxit pdf reader, I have it installed on my Kindle Fire and my phone, but I haven't used it with any multi layered models
