And the VAB with full interior and multiple Saturn V stacks in progress? That would make a wonderful diorama.

Just another small project for the holiday break...LOL

Actually, some of the Support Equipment I've seen in photos would make interesting modeling.

Hahahaha!
Oh yeah! And 1/400th scale models of one certain mr. Wernher von Braun giving instructions to the builders! Who are just having a 1/400 lunch break and enjoying things like 1/400 corned beef sandwiches, an occasional tangerine and some coffee from a 1/400 thermos!

Next up might very well be Yogi's ISS with a backflipping shuttle from AXM in an 1/300, 400-ish scale. We'll see.

Love that scale.

PK, I know I'm "piling on" (old American football term), but it's amazing how you pull off such beautiful details at this scale. I'd have trouble recreating that diorama at 1/144, much less almost three times smaller! Simply astonishing.

I suppose I could comb past posts, but I'm being lazy: Why do you work in these small scales?

Well, mainly because it takes up less space. Second, I appear to have more fun while building these small scales. It also often involves some re-colouring or more details (because I like that) and it always is a kind of a challenge to see whether I can build something in a much smaller scale than it was meant.
But mostly like I said, because it takes up less space. My hobbyroom isn't that big and I still have to hear from the University here about displaying my models there. I do have an interest in some bigger builds in the nearby future, though. A 1/48 Atlas V 401 LRO/LCROSS, for example.

For now I have to cram all my builds in that room, otherwise my two cats might destroy them.
Here's two pics of my "Raketenbauplatz" (yep, that's not Dutch but German but it just sounds so cool.)

Your small dioramas really work on your shelves. Each piece is a vignette of a specific moment in space history. Quite brilliant.

What an extraordinary collection of supber builds!

It's good to see the various projects together like that; brings back some nice memories of your earlier dioramas, such as "Beat Army!"

Thanks again for sharing your projects with us!

Cheers!
Jim
