Like I said, I love the colours and the 1/144 looks beautiful. It's weird the 1/96 is suffering from that pixelation when the larger 1/70th version isn't. The overall look of it is very impressive. Just a pity the perhaps most wanted version isn't up to that promise.
I would really like to have an 1/72 MLP for the Monogram shuttle stack I have... |

Have you seen AXM's MLP in 1/144? You can scale that up to 1/72.

Got that one. That's a good one, almost forgot I got it. First I think I'll build some more small stuff. The shuttle stack also still is in the box. More of a summer job, open windows when airbrushing and using stinking glue. Another advantage of papermodeling, it doesn't smell bad. (-;

If David send the 1:72 as a PDF, I could scale down to 1:96 and it would be perfect. The model in 1:72 is much to big for my place....
But I think, that he doesn't do this... |

The MLP Basic was quite easy to build.
Everything has to be reinforced very well, at last, is indeed something on it afterwards ... As is spent a lot of cardboard and glue. But the color differences You see it on the Top Deck between left and right side extremly.... |

THE SHOW MUST GO ON....
The MLP is as ready, the little pieces will be installed at the end, as they may be damaged ... The pipes are really no pipes, but folded poorly resolved photocopies ... The Hold Downs are constructed incorrectly, the inside must tend to inside, not to out side .... I'm with parts of the free downloads of mini-MLP from Greelt somewhat refined. But are still not correct, there must occur to me something, otherwise the rocket is too deep But it gets even better ... When I met God, I said, it is all that bad ... he said smiling, could it get any worse ... I smiled ... and there was WORSE! How should we cut those lines properly .... Amazing that the lower part of the LUT (still without any brackets) quite fits. The inner tower (consisting of 4 parts) is also assembled. Amazing how you can achieve in 4 parts and 4 different colors. But it is vertical. |

I think up till now you make a very decent LUT, Michael. It might not be a gift from heaven, to remain in your allegory, but you really make the best out of it.
The 'plumbing' disappoints me a bit, this must mean that also the better prints have those square blocky tube clusters instead of individual round pipes. But overall, I think your LUT will have an impressive look for everyone. As for the blocky curves, I only can say that you got to follow the most natural line there. I'd draw a good curve over the pixels with a pencil. Steady as she goes! |

I have a question. The tower section, pic's 9 and 10 don't look like the pic's at Edu-Crafts website. The pic's here are just boxes and the pic's at Edu-Craft show a structure that has many, many more parts. Can some one enlighten me here ?

It's for now only the inner part of the LUT! The girders, platforms and stairs...comes later! there are 18 Levels.... |
