And here's the finished product, in all its magnificent mediocrity!
I added lots of detail to the VAB roof. It's a busy place in the photos I found. A few other details here and there. The biggest challenge was getting the door frames to fit. I had to replace the horizontal pieces at the bottom of the frames with styrene because the kit parts just didn't fit properly. Overall, a reasonably enjoyable build. Mucho thanx to Lee Anne Ward for creating the beta model! Comments welcome, as always. Les (Friendly Airplane Asylum & ex-NASA flack) |

Great work, Les. You don't have to use terms like mediocrity imho. It looks good. period. And even in this scale it still remains a very impressive building.

Thanx to all for the kind verbiage. I occasionally do some good work, but I consider my skills pretty darn average!

Yes- looking forward to completion- the white rectangles atop the side buildings on either side of the low bay should have raised areas in place. I know- since that's where, for 10 years, my orbiter engineering office was.
This is a fine project- are you making it available to download, I wonder? Thanks for the looksee- BP Quote:
