Have a nice day with good

The Mir space station has reached the level of construction.
I made a temporary holder (later to swap the final version) and tried how the individual modules are integrated together in a project

A small magnet scones very good idea, a great freedom in the construction and assembly.

The Baikal test position. Does not conflict with anything, but the Core module solar dangerously close! It would be interesting to dock!

The images for thinking. If you build alternate reality, would fit the old favorite is the TKS spacecraft. The "Sovjet Apollo"
TKS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (spacecraft)
TKS

TKS is interesting to constrict. The Soyuz alternative products. Unfortunately, his career is not the standard. Designed by Vladimir Chelomei. The successful construction of the it derived ZARYA Module still fly to the ISS. But the miR all research module the modified TKS made by unmanned spaceship, docked to the station in automatic mode.
Now is not easy to obtain information about the manned spacecraft, but I would have if the alternative "Mir" is staying in one of these.

The plan was based on the "Almaz" and Salyut 7 flight. The design is similar to the idea MOL space station but also tried to lock in a hole in the middle of the Heat shield. But it seems a bit risky and practical work "

It was then a well built design.

Docked to the space station. The following is the Baykal!

Looking good, Zoli. The airlock looks very good, too. The Soviets were making good use of off-the-shelf techniques when they built Buran. The same airlock shape also returns in the drawings of the back end of Kliper.

I can only guess what they would have done with the shuttle's name in reality. In the U.S. they had the same problem, having the name of the shuttle on the doors, so no one could see it when the doors were opened. They replaced it to a new spot, right behind the cockpit. Perhaps the Russians would have done the same.
So there also is a magnet in the Baikal airlock?

Atlantis is ready. Here are the last parts assembled. Engine bases, engine bells and below them a small brass tube for the display stand. The model has such a good fit. Alfonso did an awesome job on this little gem. This is the third orbiter I made in 1/400 and I love making them every time. Up next is the Enterprise with the tail cone on. Now for the backdrop. A square photo frame with an earth limb picture. It's getting time to get the whole bunch together. That will be something for next time.

Well then, it is also time for me to show my final piece here. Here's Mir as it was during the first shuttle (un) docking which was STS-71. When Atlantis undocked, there were pictures made from the also undocked Soyuz in the proximity of the station. I took these pictures as a lead for my diorama. Hope you like it!

PK,

Your super awesome, super glossy background there gave me an idea... What if you made a frame that you could insert/remove an iPad (or other tablet) and have a dynamic background playing on it (i.e. rotating Earth)? That would be incredible, methinks!

Just thinking out loud here.
