"32 million horsepower„ 3d Sketch

Have a nice day with good

"The F-1 rocket engine is still a modern wonder — one and a half million pounds of thrust, 32 million horsepower, and burning 6,000 pounds of rocket grade kerosene and liquid oxygen every second.„

Jasper's work is seeing my friends came to me in the mood, build a wonder of engineering knowledge of the Rocketdyne F-1! Jasper did a very nice building, but a little more thinking, I started to create a 3D sketch. Maybe play with the paper, but all the elements documented'm using, and I'm planning a real building.
I gained a lot more detailed plans for the F-1 engine, but it is not really.

Let's start with the basics. The Drive was built in outside inner layer. 1/48 th of 1 mm thickness méretarényban kept within reach.

Everyone knows the famous picture. Here the thickness of the bell.

The injector plate Jasper's work for the rest of their own design. The stiffening ribs on the lower bell may be too large thick?

The turbo pump exhaust ring Greel revised version of the model.

Somehow I made it so in reality

It's really just a game of paper ...
The more I think about coloring, printer or ink? I think a mix of Innovate!

Now the turbopump design of deal.

Greetings everyone Merzo

Yeah..., Merzo being Merzo, doing what he does best!

Very nice start!

I'm very much looking forward to this. When you finally test-run your final version, please let us know how much thrust it generates! ;-)

MERZO,

Nice to see your work here again! This is looking very cool so far. I'm subscribing to this thread to keep an eye your build. Keep up the great work.

Scale 1/48 or better? Just to be able to compare it with the other current builds, how about 1/12th? The Accurate Models mixed media kit is 1/20th scale, but at $250 plus was way out of reach (one of the many reasons that I turned more to paper recently). Following your build with anticipation.

Spacemike, it indeed is 1/48.
Zoltan, you're off to a great start! It looks magnificent already. The turbo pump manifold and the coolant rings around it look wonderful. You are the best in scratch building these things. Looking forward seeing progress pictures.

Talking

Oh No...Mezo going after the F-1, I'll be watching this one with great interest. You DO realize you're going to have the build the other four and then the Sat-V to scale for them.
