1/20 soyuz rocket paper/styrene build

Hello guys
I know it sounds crazy but i'm building a 1/20 Soyuz rocket for an exhibit, using a paper model i found on the internet as a reference.
The idea is to use the paper to build the main structure and then add details like welding lines using styrene strips and other tricks (maybe even 3d technology for parts like the engines)
One thing i would like to ask you: i'm looking for something to make paper hard and strong, before i paint the whole rocket with acrylic, what do you suggest?
I've heard about something called Paverpol, other modelers says they use products intended for finishing works on wood, which one is the best?
Also i need something clear that will not fade to a yellowish color with time, because i also want to use it to seal my 1/72 ISS and the good Acquarus LM model you can find on the internet.
Here where i live Paverpol comes at 9 euros for 1kg of product,my guess is i will need 2kg for the whole rocket.
Thanks!

Only 7.5 feet tall... totally doable!

(a Saturn V at that scale would be over 18 feet tall Does anyone dare?)

I have the Delta 7 Studios Gemini and Mercury.
I have the dream of print the Gemini (1/24) at 1/6 or 1/12.

I cannot wait to see pictures of your build! I started a Mercury Redstone in 1:18, I designed and laser cut the frames and fins, using balsa sheets. I used 1/8" balsa stringers. I have to skin it, but the largest MR I can find is 1:48, so re-scaling has been a stretch. I thought about using thin styrene as a skin. I want to combine the Delta 7 capsule with a 1:24 interior. It is in build purgatory now.

Well,at 1/20 the Soyuz rocket will be 2 meters high.
The Saturn V.... well,it would be a monster over 5 meters long :D
I have Delta7 studios mercury and gemini spacecrafts,i already printed the mercury, which is 1/14 scale,i will try to print the gemini at the same scale to see how it turns out

The Mercury in 1/14 scale is a good chance, friend.
An interior for the Mercury would be awesome.

Well, for the interior i still have an unboxed Atomic City Mercury, which is 1/12 scale, and that also has the interior
About the Gemini, Jim Key from CustomReplicas was working on a 1/12 scale Gemini capsule kit but i think the project is abandoned now or it has been put indefinitely on hiatus...i would have for sure bought two gemini's for me,if that kit would have been released... :/
