Actually ends up pretty simple ... until I find some more pictures/detail.

BTW: any of our European builders feel up to critiquing some files along with Joseph?

You guys are good (or as noted above - obsessively interested in the space program)!

Yogi (What, me worry?)

I already was hoping for a completion of the twins. That'll make a nice display with both of them on one stand. Sure I'll make them when they are up for download!

I'm really sorry I cannot do a beta, still too busy. Suffering from withdrawal symptoms but there's a deadline I got to keep an eye on and a girlfriend I have to help to get settled in her new home...

Beta? Beta! We (do) need no stinking Beta ...

Agreed PK. Keep your priorities straight.

These have been sitting as partials since last July. When I finally get enough parts to make it worthwhile to do a build there are invariably bits missing (scratch build & make note), fit problems (cut/tweak & make a note), and stuff that just looks wrong (cut/remake/paint/ignore & make another note). Hopefully all the notes make it back into corrections.

-Prototypes short on detailing-
-Herschel bus not aligned correctly-

Next step is to do a clean build with no preconceptions (best done by anyone other than the designer - me). Looking for comments on anything that isn't clear, isn't right, or is missing.

So, thank you Joseph ... and anyone who wants to take on Planck (a very simple build at this point until I get all the beta comments).

No problem at all -- both models were enjoyable to build, and the end product looks especially nice with the stand:

One thought: We could use more of the brackets between the bus and lower disk on Planck. The part is just fine and looks right, but apparently we'll need two for each face:
