I ran into the same problem as well, and I use 7 zip. I kept getting a corrupted file message. don't know if this info will help, but thought I should add my two cents worth.

The file is uploaded
I have run the original file through the Foxit Phantom pdf printer, and went from 13 MB down to 3.5 MB.

Instead of landscape sheets, the pages came out in portrait, but that is not a problem

Please check, and report

Rick

Hi guys,

Ghaspacer has allowed me to host his GOES-R files at my blog.
His work is absolutely stunning. This model is in 1:35 scale fully detailed and it will be a great model to collect.
Check my AtlasV GOES-R 100th EELV post to download the model and instructions. It's a 13 mb file.

I like to know more about this Phantom PDF Printer for reducing file size.
My files are a little larger to keep the print quality high.

Plus, has the upload limit changed?, last time I checked, it was 20MB.

no changes in file limit

I use the pdf printers foxit installs to reprocess the file
it is a trick I have learned from making high raster image maps, and it allows me to move the smaller file a bit easier, either by email or uploading the file

I borrowed a copy of PhantomPDF from a friend of mine and I love this new program. I even made my original file size smaller like you did and kept the original landscape profile. I can do more with this than the program I was using the last few years.

For now on, I will be using this new PDF program, no more large file sizes.

Thank you for revealing this to me.

Talking

Thank you very much for the GOES-R model. It along with Alfonso's Atlas V LV will make for a great representation.
