Thank you very much!
The sixth country to successfully launch a satellite into orbit is the United Kingdom, on October 28, 1971 with the Prospero satellite, and the rocket Black Arrow .

It takes place at Woomera in Australia. This first launch into orbit will also be the last for this country which then abandons its space program!

Following of our little daily post with an Indian premiere this evening.
On July 18, 1980, India launched the Rohini RS1 35kg satellite into orbit using its SLV-3 rocket (4 solid propellant stages).
It therefore becomes the seventh space power.
Nowadays, India has big space ambitions and would work on a future manned flight.

Eighth country in the space race: Israel.
On September 17, 1988, it launched the Ofek 1 satellite into orbit with a Shavit 3-stage solid propellant rocket), derived from the Jericho missile, itself derived from Dassault's MD620!
Note that Israel, having to launch its satellites to the west to avoid overflying hostile countries, cannot benefit from the earth's rotation effect to boost its launches.
At equal power, the satellite load will therefore be lower than for countries launching east.

Another great job!

It's surprising how much the Kytop family gets around!

That's the speed with which the models are increasing.
You have more production than North Korea

Thank you for the link.
I do not have most of the rockets offered in the collection yet.

Ninth space power: Iran.
On February 2, 2009, it launched the 25 kg Omid satellite into orbit with the Safir rocket (3-stage launcher derived from a North Korean technology missile).
The model comes from this site but I modified it to include the text in Persian:

Tenth member of the club!
On December 12, 2012, it was North Korea's turn to launch the Kwang Myong Song 3 satellite (KMS-3-2) with the Unha-3 rocket. With this launch, the world is afraid because it becomes obvious that this country is also capable of building powerful strategic missiles. Satellite launchers and nuclear missiles have always been intimately linked.
Sputnik's R7 was nothing other than the first Russian ICBM SS-6 Sapwood.

It was South Korea's turn to orbit STSAT-2C on January 30, 2013 with a KSLV-1 rocket, the first stage of which is Russian (Angara rocket element). This success comes after two failures in 2009 and 2010. Access to space is never a long, calm river.

I leave it to you to determine whether New Zealand can be considered the twelfth space power or not.
Certainly the Electron rocket put into orbit 4 minisatellites on January 21, 2018 from New Zealand but the company Rocket Lab, although supported by this country is private and partly American.

Provisional end of this series. Monday, start of the presentation of one of the most famous American rockets: the Delta.
