Thank you.

The Atlas rocket also receives the second stage Centaur.
Here is the model of the Atlas LV3C Centaur B, launched on November 27, 1963 to test the operation of this stage, AC-2 test (no additional charge).

With the Atlas Agena.

The launcher is evolving into Atlas Centaur SLV3D, a version that will launch numerous Pioneer probes and satellites.

The Atlas-Centaur launcher will receive several improvements (lengthening of the stages, improvement of the thrust of the engines of the first stage, improvement of the electronic systems) and becomes the Atlas II, first flight in 1991. Used in particular for the launch of several UFO (Ultra High Frequency Follow On), UHF communication satellites of the US Navy.

The Atlas II receives 4 boosters with powder which confers him more power and becomes the Atlas II AS.

Hello Jan, you mentioned how difficult it is to print on chrome paper. Can you share what brand you used and any tips on print settings you found success with?

Hello,
It is not difficult to print the paper but it is difficult to use it because it is very sensitive to all kind of glues and it is very easy to damage the chrome shine.
So I use two faces adhesive tape as much as possible for the building.
It is Red River paper silver metallic.

The first Atlas to take off after the interrupted researches X-11 and X-12 was the Atlas A, which, intended to test the side jettisonable thrusters (known as "booster engine") counted only 2 engines. 8 test flights.
Scissors and planes model.
