1:144 scale Soyuz & Carrier Rocket
Hi folks.
This is my very first Paper Model build and I am now ADDICTED!!!! As a member of the Macarthur Astronomical Society here in Sydney, I'm putting together a little display I'm calling "Milestones In Manned Spaceflight" consisting of 1:144 scale model rockets I've built since building the old 1975 Airfix kit of the Apollo Saturn V for last year's 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11. |

Excellent job on both! And, yeah, welcome to the Dark Side of Modeling....
I gave up styrene about two decades ago and have never looked back. The range of card models -- particularly space-related subjects -- has come a long way in that time and there are some great models out there. You've started with a couple of very good ones. Alfonso is one of the masters. If you like Russian subjects, check out Leo Cherkashyn's models if you haven't already. I've built a number of them through the years, and Leo (like Alfonso) is a talented designer with a great eye for detail. Space flight paper modelling |

Nicely done! Sounds like a fun project all around! Lay in a big supply of paper and toner!
