Zack's Parker Solar Probe
Okay, yes, this took me longer than it should have. Inspired by Group B's amazing rocket collection, I've been working on those for the last year as well as some 1:144 plastic kits. But I finally added the magnetometer boom to my Parker Solar Probe and thought I should post some picks.
Thanks again to Zack for an amazing model. I rescaled his original 1:15 to 1:25 to match my other kits and that created some challenges. The instructions are well put together and do a good job warning of the complicated heat shield. I'm no master builder, but I think his design and some patience brought it together. I used some styrene rod for some of the short antennas and some strand wire for the whips. I think they look good at scale. Anyhow, hope you like the few pics I took.

Well done on the model, glad the model came together
nicely for you. I was waiting for someone to share the results from building this model because it was one of my most challenging designs. Thank you Zach |
