Finished making and fitting the "M" struts and diagonal girders for decks 1 to 3.
NOW I need to prepare myself for the task of making 120 fairly small diagonal girders for decks 4 to 18!!!!!!!!

Thumbs up

Making and fitting of the small, diagonal girders for decks 4 to 18 is progressing very nicely I reckon
I now only have 8 more decks to do.
I've also started adding figures to the model and am seriously considering fitting hand rails to each of the decks as well .....

Apparently you don't want to install the stairs in the tower, because the access is now blocked through the diagonal girders. That's a pity ...

Unhappy

After an unfortunate accident with a low flying ceiling fan chopping off the top 2 decks of the LUT, I thought I'd have a go at printing more stairs and try to install them on each level BEFORE I finish all the girders.
I've only got 4 more levels to install stairs into THEN I can resume the girders....... Oh yeah, and repair the top levels ....

Now still print and install the railings too, otherwise you will get into trouble with NASA's safety inspectors!

Way ahead of ya there .......
I'm adding metal balustrades and sourcing them, unfortunately from China.
Can't find them in Australia

Hey Dave, looking closely at your pics I came up with a question - Another great build for you by the way - Your color match on the paint to cover the edges of the paper looks really close. Can you give us a hint as to what paint or marker you are using and what you found the best color to be?

I realize that individual print will vary and affect tone, texture etc etc ... but I thought it worth an ask.

Okay, Dave, keep cool, the outside railings on each tower platform are a must, but I also meant the handrails on the stairs.
