Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) - 1:200
I was looking to make a quick model last night and thought about making a TDRS satellite from AXM’s STS-51-L payload. After some slight modifications to represent TDRS before being loaded into the payload bay (namely, the TRW solar array covers), I printed out the model at 1:200 scale and got to work.
More to follow tomorrow.

Tonight's update: the IUS (Inertial Upper Stage). This is my first time trying gold leaf in a model, and though my application is sloppier than I'd like, the effect is appreciable.

With that, I think I'm ready to call it done! There were definitely lots of learning opportunities with this model, but I look forward to building more spacecraft in this scale.

That's a great looking small scale satellite. I really like the way that the foil turned out.
