Very nice model! I also like the decisioon to give it a tandem gear. Now for the docking scene from the Out Of The Blue cover: Wasn't it Gary Pilsworth who made a nice model of the ELO flying saucer / mothership?
.. Speaking of the Mothership, Wouldn't it be awesome if the ELO Mothership would meet with Parliament's mothership? (-: |

There is a "Journey" saucer in Gary's downloads...
(I've not seen the "ELO" saucer...) All my best... George |

Just read in the news that Richard Tandy, the keyboards player, passed on at the age of 76. No further details provided. Sadly, the end of an era..... Saw a recent picture of him in the news clip together with Jeff Lynne. Jeff, who must be of about the same age, seems to be ageless, but Richard looked like a very old (and perhaps sick) man.

Yes, I read that too. Sad... His voice was in the "Mr. Blue Sky" vocoder bit.
In the meantime I got inspired and I have started the Pilsworth ELO saucer. I changed it a little, though. And I printed two pages per A4 sheet. |
