Thumbs up

Now that's what i call BIG - in fact COSMACLISMIC proportions... You have got me on the edge of my seat with this. From what i can see you haven't lost any quality in the up-scale, she will be a piece of well engineered paper when you have finished. Now i have to be patient and wait for the up-dates. :D

well folks time for an update

started to put together the bottom parts
haven't made it completely yet as i want to put the bottom halves together first to see if it is ok before making the complete circle and to see where i can set the bottom stripes that the bottom is supposed to rest on, i want to see how many layers needed to make it sit ok

as you can see on the pics this thing alone is 17 cms high
now with the engines at the bottom and the main stage + the forward skirt - MAN this will be big :D

when my wife saw the size of the bottom parts, she just went "uhuh, oh dear, oh my goodness" (but in swedish ofcourse :D)

when ("if" - i hope not) Greelt has done the complete Saturn V then i don't think i have enough length in our apartment to either lay it down or to stand it upright

I think that if you just manage to get one of these beauties made at this scale, it would be marvellous to say the least... what a centre of attraction it will be, and certainly get lots of " OMG look at that " from admirers . Look forward to more of this my friend

Should be a real shocker - in a good way. A coat of epoxy to seal it, a little LH2/O2, and a match ("Malmo, we have liftoff!"). You could probably put airdave's cat in orbit when you're finished.
