Great job! I really like the comparison - interesting to see them lined up (graphics, detailing, construction, etc.)

Nice comparison! Question: is it all in the same scale? One of them looks a little bit bigger (and seems to look at us with a bit of a tilted head, apparently ...)

Thanks Udon's Factory
U-DON'S FACTORY
The most detailed LEM. The most difficult because of the tiny bits. The landing pads alone are five pieces each. |

Thanks Fiddler Green
Easier than Udon's but still nice. Build instructions were not great, the upper stage took a little thought. I like the gold foil look on this one the best

While having never made a Fiddler's green kit I am a bit surprised about the crude design the legs have. Just being honest.
The U-don one however is actually quite good, I first thought that was the FG one. I already guessed the "tilthead" was the Gulf kit. I think I got the U-Don one somewhere.. (checking...Yes! Great. It's 1/48th, by the way. That makes the Gulf one a bit bigger -- or out of scale.) The work you did on the U-Don makes it the best looking LM of the trio, it really looks the part and has a realistic appearance, mostly due to the tubes that make the landing struts and the realistic RCS thruster blocks. However, like I said, you did a very nice kit-comparison and thanks for that! And now I want to make a LM very soon. After the two I have in the planning, that is. |

But In my defense I will say It was the very first paper model I had ever designed, I did it entirely in Microsoft paint at 96dpi... and The original model was designed to only be 1 1/2 inches tall at that scale there was no way I was rolling tubes for those struts. Still I was very pleased with the way it turned out (especially the foil) |
