If possible can the forum keep "POT whatever time interval people are able to find in their spare time to change it". I (and I think many others) see and learn about lots of interesting models that I would otherwise would never know about.

Regards

Kevin

Kevin,

The POT{W/M} is not going to go away.
My statement was in response to people who complained about one picture being up for multiple months, yet not reaching out to offer assistance, but just put out a complaint.

The admins and moderators here on the forum are all volunteers, we do the daily care and feeding of the forum, and there are times where features like the POTM might get neglected, we have other forum members step up and offer their assistance, and for that we are extremely grateful for their support.

But to some, there is nothing we can do that will satisfy them, and that was the reason for my comment.

Rick

Yes i agree. The job isn't the easiest thing to do. I took on the POTW many years ago as you will remember. Back then i had lots more spare time and even produced video's to compliment the accolade of POTW. I enjoyed doing all of that, but life for each and every of us here changes, sometimes it changes dramatically and things never really go back to where we once were. IMHO, lets remove the title POT... this will end any timing issues. Instead, a random picture from our library displaying the builders name. On a random basis a new picture could be displayed every day. Just an idea and would put a fresher look. To have a POT... that doesn't get changed may make us look like no-one is at the helm of the good ship PM DOT COM. Kind regards. Pete.

Peter - Mike Mash has now stepped up to the picture editor job, so the complaints should die away for a while, and there will be a human being curating the images. Cheers, Don

Nice model. Looks like it was not built out of paper.
