Hello Members:

This seems to be an appropriate time to pay tribute to a longtime member Kevin WS. His recent sudden passing was a shock. Kevin had created a number of excellent threads. Many of them were renditions of various birds. However, more than one member mentioned to me their favorite was Kevin’s “Temple of Sacrifice”, from June of 2021. So I chose it as a great representation of Kevin’s work. It is from the Architectural category, and contains a number of very well done photos.

I met Kevin a few years ago when he visited London. We have a very enjoyable day together.

I was very sad to hear the news but my memories of his visit will be remembered for a long time. My condolences to his family

I was shocked to hear of his passing, Kevin always commented on my work and we had chatted a few times via PM, as a fellow South African I say "Good bye dear friend"
