Hello Members:
Here is the selection for “February Picture Of The Month”, from the “Ships & Watercraft Builds” category. It is Sao Gabriel 1497 Seahorse 1:100 by Firdajan. After a brief absence from this forum, he returned with this beautiful 15th century work . . . a time of wooden ships and iron men. Beautifully crafted model! Well-deserved POTM. The ship reminds me of a museum ship in Malacca, Malaysia, which is a replica of a 15th or 16th century Portuguese ship, the Flora del Mar (Flower of the Sea). When I lived in Malaysia in the nineties we used to visit Malacca regularly because of the nice and relaxed atmosphere. I'm not sure if the ship's still there, already 25 years ago....
